(dis)connection

while i have felt pleasantly disconnected from american politics here on the other side of the world, i felt a twinge of social responsibility kick in, so i decided to find out how to get an absentee ballot. you wouldn't think it would be that difficult, but it was. apparently when they say non-resident, they don't mean overseas residents... go figure.

and as i went through some of my old bookmarks, i found an old favorite game: http://espgame.org/ . sometimes it makes you believe in esp and the connection you have with all the universe! and sometimes you feel just plain dumb. try it out anyway.
